The International BEARS' racing scene kicked off in Christchurch New Zealand in the early 1980s. Started by a group of enthusiastic motorcyclists who did not fit the social groups or race classes available at the time on their Triumphs, Nortons and BSAs. So, they decided to start their own club. BEARS racing is still thriving today in many countries around the world.
